1 Hour for Peace — Peace in the Midst of Diversity
In recognition of International Peace Day 2026 Rotary Club of the Caribbean Plus presents 1 Hour for Peace, a special virtual gathering under the theme “Peace in the Midst of Diversity.”
This one-hour experience will bring together voices, cultures and creative expressions from across the Caribbean and beyond to reflect on the power of peace, understanding and unity in our diverse communities.
The program will feature Dawn Rochelle, CADRE Technical Advisor for The Rotary Foundation for Peace and Conflict Resolution and Global Health, who will share insights on building peace and strengthening communities. Rotary District 7030 Governor Maurice Saad will also offer a special message of peace and solidarity.
Through dance, song and other artistic performances, the event will celebrate the many ways the arts can inspire dialogue, connection and hope. A special highlight will be the unveiling of the Rotary Club of the Caribbean Plus’ Caribbean Song for Peace a musical expression of our shared commitment to peace across our territories and around the world supported by Artificial Intelligence.
Take a moment in the evening of Monday 21 September 2026 at 6pm to reflect on our Rotary responsibility to build understanding, foster compassion, and work together for a better, more peaceful world.
