The Rotary Club of the Caribbean Plus, in collaboration with the British High Commission, hosted its first major fund-raising event, the highly anticipated Rotary Easter Jazz Soirée on Friday, April 11, 2025. The event was held under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency Amy Quantrill, the British Resident Commissioner to Saint Lucia.
Set against the elegant backdrop of the High Commissioner’s Official Residence in Vigie, Castries, the evening brought together many valued guests for an unforgettable night of smooth jazz, fine wine, decadent treats, and meaningful contributions. Guests were treated to melodious saxophone music from Antonius. With the Jazz ambience guests also enjoyed a continuous flow of scrumptious food and a bounty of liquid refreshments. The evening was abuzz with the silent auction for season pass tickets to the 2025 edition of the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, over EC$29 000 was raised. All proceeds will go towards establishing an artificial limb project in Saint Lucia—a transformative initiative for members of our community in need.
