Traditionally, Peace Poles are physical monuments placed in communities around the world, each carrying the timeless message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in multiple languages. With over 200,000 already standing worldwide, each one represents a prayer, a hope, and a commitment to a more peaceful future.
The Rotary Club of the Caribbean Plus, the first District 7030 electronic club, embraces innovation by unveiling our virtual Peace Pole—hosted on a webpage—allowing peace to be planted not in one location, but everywhere. This digital space creates a platform where peace seekers across borders can visit, reflect, and share in the universal call for harmony.
As we celebrate World Peace Day 2025, this Peace Pole reminds us that peace knows no boundaries—whether physical or digital. May it inspire us to live the words it bears and work together toward a world rooted in understanding, compassion, and unity.
Take a moment on Sunday evening to reflect on our Rotary responsibility to build understanding, foster compassion, and work together for a better, more peaceful world.
The program will feature reflections from club and district leaders, interlaced with cultural performances in poetry, song, and steelpan including remarks by:
District Governor DG Soraya Warner-Gustave. The District 7030 Governor for the 2025–2026 Rotary year, from the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia. A Rotarian since 2010, she is widely recognized for her leadership, dedication to youth initiatives, and commitment to advancing Rotary’s mission across the region.
Brian Rusch Rotary International Enhanced Participant Engagement Committee. Brian Rusch is a humanitarian, peace leader, and storyteller who regularly consults in the areas of human rights and diversity, equity and inclusion. With a client base made up of nonprofit organi-zations, governments, corporations and celebrities, Brian helps them strategize how they can best optimize their platforms to be change makers for good. https://www.brianrusch.com/about
District Peace Chair Charles Hossle. District Peace Fellowships Chair for Rotary District 7030, a position he held since 2023. In this role, he contributes to a wider network of Rotarians and Rotaractors focused on strengthening peace-building activities within the district. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Grenada East.
